Covid vaccine for children 5-11 years

The Pediatric Group now has the Pfizer vaccine for covid-19 for the 5-11 year age group.

Patients eligible to receive the vaccine may CALL TO SCHEDULE the vaccine during our twice weekly covid vaccine clinics.

The vaccine will NOT BE GIVEN at other routine visits; no other vaccines will be administered when covid vaccine is given.

In order to be scheduled for a vaccine, the child has to have had a PHYSICAL exam within the past year.

Children receiving the vaccine must REMAIN IN OFFICE for ten minutes after the shot.

Because the vaccine must be discarded once drawn up if not used, patients will be charged if they DO NOT SHOW for their scheduled vaccine appointment.
